The Vitesse Group went into liquidation in April 2001 .Subsequently, the Sun Star Group acquired certain assets of the Vitesse Group including some moulds and the brand name. Sun Star has now re-launched the Vitesse brand.

IXO Models are made in China by Sonic International Limited. Ixo Models, goal was to put together the most advanced manufacturing techniques, the best diecast model cars development and marketing experts under the same brand.
